Sports Federation…The Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) on Saturday said that the pending National Female Championship was a piece of the push to further create up and coming and existing female players in the nation.

Adebowale Adeosun, Assistant Secretary of NTTF, revealed to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lagos that the challenge would hold in Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos from June 27 to June 30.

Adeosun said that the challenge, open to every single female classification, would highlight singles and pairs occasions, while the body would pay special mind to promising players for important follow-up.

“The female players are progressing nicely yet their exhibitions and the triumphant hole with that of a male is wide.

“So this actuated the up and coming titles which are only for up and coming and existing female players.

“We know that players are coming up and are progressing in the direction of making an imprint and being important in the national group in their classifications so this title is an approach to empower them.

“They will have an empowering ground to contend among themselves without dread or terrorizing from the male, and give the fundamental help that will carry their capability to the spotlight,” she included.

She encouraged intrigued female table tennis players to take an interest in the title, show their abilities and potential in the game whereby they will be significant to the organization and nation on the loose.
