About Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF)
The Tony Elumelu Foundation was established by Tony O. Elumelu, CON a philanthropist, investor, and entrepreneur who is passionate to see the African economy grow.
Our long investment in empowering African entrepreneurs is emblematic of Tony Elumelu’s philosophy of Africapitalism, that positions Africa’s personal sector, and most significantly entrepreneurs, as the catalyst for the social and economic development of the continent.
In 2015, TEF consolidated its varied programmes and initiatives and created investment in Africa’s next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders a priority. the long run of the Tony Elumelu Foundation centers on the supply of structured, robust, and many-sided support to entrepreneurs around Africa through the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme.
The vision for the foundation is to unlock the obstacles that Africa’s entrepreneurs face as they grow their start-ups into little to medium enterprises (SMEs), their SMEs into national growth firms, and their national growth corporations into African multinationals.
We will still support our growing numbers of programme alumni, whose sacred success stories function encouragement to approaching entrepreneurs and demonstrate the effectiveness of our interventions. As we tend to deepen our reach in Africa, we’ll still enrich these alumni networks, facilitating purposeful conversations and mentor relationships to further assist tomorrow’s business leaders and build an impactful pan-African entrepreneurial ecosystem.
